Kansas State Guard showing off on the big stage

The 5-foot 8 Point guard has played almost every minute for the Wildcats all year long. His injury in the second half of the Sweet 16 matchup against Michigan State looked bleak when he couldn’t put weight on his ankle. Later that night Nowell made Magic happen and the player from Harlem made March Madness happen.

Markquis Nowell broke the NCAA record for most assists in a game and is the leader of this Kansas State team leading his group to a possible Final Four for the first time since 1964. Nowell calls himself Mr New York City and that label is deserved. Thursday night was a special night.

With that said, Markquis Nowell is one game away from being one of the most beloved player in all of college basketball and that’s taking Kansas St to it’s first Final Four in 59 years. I’m officially a Markquis Nowell fan and so should you.
