The Greenville Drive (56-60) head into tonight on a losing streak dating back to the entire series versus the Winston Salem Dash and now the Hickory Crawdads (60-50) are wanting to keep it going. The Drive start out hot for the first time and take a 3-0 lead after the first inning. Both teams get a run in the 5th inning and make the score 4-1. The Drive get one more run in the 7th and hold on to win 5-2 and get a very much needed win and performance from its pitching staff. The Drive bats also came alive with clutch hitting in route to the victory. The teams meet up tomorrow night at 7pm.
