The four teams who will battle it out in Houston is probably not the normal Final Four many expected. There will be no No. 1 seed at the Final Four for the first time since 2011.

Houston will welcome 9 seed Florida Atlantic, a 5 seed Miami, 4 seed UConn and 5 seed SDSU. Florida Atlantic, Miami, SDSU will be making their first appearance in the Final Four for the first time in school history. This will also be the first time 3 schools will be making their debuts in Final Four since 1970.

March Madness has been insane and this should be exciting from an outsider perspective who wants to see the newcomers be on the big stage for once. It’s also the first time the state of Florida has sent both men’s team to the Final Four.
