High Point, NC- On Thursday night amidst a raucous crowd, the High Point Panthers (18-4, 7-0) played host to the Longwood Lancers(14-8, 2-5) in a Big South conference battle.

The Panthers, who are off to their best start in school history, were completely dominant in the first half after a blistering start from Trae Benham and Kimani Hamilton. The 2 combined for 25 first half points. High Point had 3 in double figures with Kezza Giffa chipping in another 12 first half points. The lead was 19 for the Panthers at the half with the score 50-31. Benham also led the Panthers in rebounding with 4 total.

Longwood was paced by James Madison transfer Elijah Tucker who had 12 first half points to go along with 4 rebounds. Longwood finished with 35.7% shooting in the first half and only 20% from 3 point land.
