Saturday Night Football at N.C. State was supposed to be a win against a team that was fighting to keep itself from being at the bottom of the conference. N.C. State (3-3, 0-2 ACC) once ranked in the top 25 and had a chance to be a playoff contender has fallen quickly to be at the bottom of the conference.

Wake Forest (2-3, 1-1 ACC) is now in the middle of the pack and filling much better about its bowl chances after a huge loss the week before. The Demon Deacons are now ready to build on this win going into next week’s battle against a top 10 ranked Clemson Tigers at home. Since Dave Clawson came to Wake, they have given Clemson fits at home.

N.C. State now has to get its team back on the winning track to salvage their season after having so many feel they was on the edge to be a true powerhouse in the ACC. The Wolfpack take on the Orangeman from Syracuse in now a must win game for both teams at the bottom of the league. Wolfpack should be a home favorite but will need to show they are still a team to be reckoned with in the ACC.
